Wisconsin Ride
I thought I would go for a longer ride on Sunday so I went over to Art Doyles shop in Hudson, WI. It started at 7am not 7:30am--oopps. I went into Wisc, on my own anyways. The first that was interesting is that as I was enjoying the ride way too much I ended close to Ellsworth, WI & luckily I had my Garmin with me so I could figure out where I was going. After some time I went into Prescott, WI & got a call from Pam telling that my parents are on their way over to cut wood--I recently lost a large oak tree. I made it home & for 2 hrs I cut up a oak tree & stacked it. My parents left got back on my bike to get my truck, which was parked in Hudson & at the 98.5 mile all of a sudden my wheel was hitting my brakes--I broke a spoke!!! I loosened up my brakes & barely got to the truck & notices that the back hatch was open. I do not function very well early in the morning, so my morning coffee was still on the bumper & I left the rear hatch open---all day!!!! NOTHING was touched--no tools, no money-....nata!!
