Knowing that this whole course was single track I hit it hard going into the woods--1st in my age going in 6th out of the group. What always happens is that people in front of you go down and there is a mess--yes it happened to me& yes people passed me. I jumped back in the game behind Steve W & we rode smooth for a lap until I went to shift on a climb & BAM--my chain went in between rings on the crank---the bolts must have been loose because I found out that I lost a total of 3 out of the 4 bolts & bent my small ring (2-ring crank). Still crused in on the big ring for 2nd in age--Good Times
