On Monday eve. Pam threw a tennis ball for Cubby (the little dog)and he goes after with such aggressiveness that he actually herniated a disk in his back. Cubby yelped & was walking in circles dragging his rear left leg in pain. We took him to ER and they did X-Rays & said that the disk jumped out of place & that was causing the issue but, without a MRI at the U of M we do not know if surgery is needed. We left him there over nite as he got cortisone to reduce the swelling. Pam then transferred him to the U to for a MRI. The MRI told us that he ruptured a disk that impacted his spinal cord causing his left rear leg to be paralized; there is a 80% chance he will get use of his leg.
