East Coast

On June 2, 1974, the Xerox International Center for Training and Management Development (XICT-MD), as it was named at the time, first opened its doors. The campus stretched for 2,265 acres and was the only development as far as the eye could see and lays on the near the shore of the Potomac River.
It has a gym with indoor basketball, out-door pool, out-door tennis courts, bikes to rent, and other activities to keep the groups of sales, tech's, and administration peeps happy. The boom of Y2K was over and Xerox suffered and so did it's employees, with a stock drop from 65 down to 2 so measures had to be taken and one of those was to sell the "Campus." On June 29, 2000, ownership changed hands and the acreage was reduced to 110 acres. Xerox Corporation sold the buildings and remaining grounds to Oxford Capital Partners, Inc--I almost forgot it also has a bar in one of the wings which has lots of memories especially on Karaoke thursdays!!!

In the early 90's I spent 6-weeks here and luckily one of my fellow classmates had a vehicle so we went into DC often. I also brought my Rollerblades and "rolled" around the campus as much as I could--the past

On the night's of Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday I actually ran on the treadmill, rode the stationary bike, & lifted some metal performing squats and since the meals are all-you-eat pig out fest I tried skipping meals. That lasted until we had classes into the evening on Wednesday & Thursday--EEEEAAATTTTTT!!!!
