The Ham Lake, MN CX race or shall I say that it was basically a crit on dirt with two corners thrown in fo good measure.
74 of us were sprinting down a 2/3 of a mile long tar road before we went into the woods & for about 3/4 of a mile of double track under pine trees. I was feeling pretty good & since this was a road racxe on dirt on was drafting behind someone until they decided to hit the brakes & slide out on a corner as I was carrying my momentum through the corner. My front hit his rear wheel & went Superman, then a guy ran over me & went flying--No Good!!
As peeps were passing me & also banging into trying to get around, you could I lost a couple of spots. On that course once you have a issue it was way to fast to catch back on.
Sunday I rode over to my parents---To a family get together. As always good times!!
