Cable Classic

I "Whimped-Out" & did the short 18 mile race on Saturday instead of the 23 mile with more single track race. When the gun went off I wanted to stay with the top group to atleast finish in the top 10 but, by mile 5 there was a group of four that slowly got away. There were two guys & myself in the next group & the way they rode I couild tell that the only chance I had to beat them was in on technical trail--Not in the short race. The short race is not technical at all so I tried to hang on the best I could as they left me the last 5 miles. I kept on looking behind me because I was all by myself for a long time except for when the trail merged with the long race.--7th OA & 3rd in age

John W, John S, Charlie G, & myself went for 12 miles at Mosquito Brook in Seeley, WI on Sunday, which is part of the CAMBA trail system.
