I have enjoyed watch cycling races for many years, especially during the TDF in July because not only is it a huge event but you have the best of the best. Paul and Phil are the ones I am talking about and also Bobke with his funny way of looking at things. The TV coverage of the European races and and even sitting on my couch I can see that they appreciate/respect the sport to the ninth degree. I wish we (Americans) could say the same thing but, we are not even close to the levels that the people on the over side of the pond have for the sport. The ToC coverage sucks --its actually hard to follow. Gesink and Levi were trying to stay away from the peloton and all of a sudden I said to my wife was that the 1k banner they just went under. A person never knows where they are at the climbs either---At least we are seeing it on TV (VS)
